Promotion of mental health - part of the global strategy on public health, was the theme of the National conference with international participation, which is a joint initiative of the NCPHA and the department "Medical and Social Sciences" of the South-West University „Neophyte Rilski” in Blagoevgrad.
On 28-29.10.2016 Bulgarian and foreign experts discussed topics for the promotion of mental health, violence and health, suicide prevention, social work and mental health and more. Director of the NCPHA Assoc. Prof. Hristo Hinkov, MD, PhD, is among the members of the Scientific Committee, and experts from the department „Mental Health” represented their reports at the conference.
The event is dedicated to the celebration of 40th anniversary of the Southwestern University „Neophyte Rilski”.
